This year marked the 17th edition of this industry-leading event, which attracted a substantial audience both in person and online. Johnathan’s academic journey began at California State University, Chico, where he earned bachelor’s degrees in kinesiology and human physiology. By the age of five, Ryan Swier, DC (’97), already knew he wanted to continue his family’s legacy as a fourth-generation chiropractor. As a child, he dreaded trips to the doctor, especially when he needed to get shots, but his experience with his uncle, Thomas Joseph Swier, DC (’70), was different. “I always thought my uncle was the cool doctor because he didn’t give shots and I wanted to be like him,” Dr. Swier said. “He had nothing but good things to say about Logan, so when I was looking for a place to continue my education, I knew where …
